DTC DETECTING CONDITION CHART

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Output voltage of tank pressure sensor is monitored
  • Poor connection
  • Open or short to ground in FTP sensor circuit
  • Faulty FTPS
  • Faulty PCM
Enable Conditions
  • Load value 20 < Ec < 90%
Threshold value
  • Purge duty = 0%
  • Sensor output voltage < 1V
Diagnosis Time
  • Continuous
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
