DTC DETECTING CONDITION CHART

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Output voltage of tank pressure sensor is monitored
  • Poor connection
  • Short to battery in FTP sensor circuit
  • Faulty FTPS
  • Faulty PCM
Enable Conditions
  • Intake air temp > 5°C (41°F)
  • Engine speed > 1500 rpm
  • Load value 20 < Ec < 90%
Threshold value
  • Purge duty is greater than or equal to 100%
  • Intake Air Temp. < 42°C (107.6°F)
  • Sensor Output volt. > 3.2V
Diagnosis Time
  • Continuous
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
