2004 Santa Fe 2.412.7L TCM Reprogramming Instructions for Improved Upshifts, Drive and Reverse Engagement

New upgrades are available to reprogram the TCM (Transaxle Control Module) software in 2004 model year Santa Fe vehicles with 2.4L and 2.7L engines using the Hi-Scan Pro.

The improved TCM reprogramming affects the following:

^ Delayed shift feeling when shifting into Reverse

^ Delayed shift feeling when shifting from Reverse to Drive

^ 2-3 and 3-4 shift quality improvement Vehicles Affected:

^ Model: 2004 Santa Fe vehicles with 2.412.7L engines and automatic transaxles.

Produced from September 2003 through August 12 2004.
