Heated Oxygen Sensor (Ho2S): Replacement
- Disconnect the battery's negative terminal and remove the engine cover.
- Remove the air intake hose and then separate the throttle body from the surge tank to get working space.
- Disconnect the surrounding wirings which interfere with the removing procedures of the surge tank.
- Remove the surge tank assembly.
- Remove EGR pipe.
- Remove the heater hose, power steering bracket and manifold stay.
- Remove the heat protector of catalytic converter and unfasten the oxygen sensor.
- Replace the damaged oxygen sensor with the new one.
- Refill engine coolant water.
