Component Inspection

Measure resistance between terminals 1 and 2 of the solenoid connector(Component side).

SPECIFICATION

INTAKE VALVE CONTROL SOLENOID RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONS

Injector	Normal Parameter At 20°C (68°F)
Coil Resistance	6.7 ~ 7.9Ω
Insulation Resistance	Above 50MΩ

Is resistance within specification?
YES
- Go to next step as below.
NO
- Check intake valve control solenoid for contamination, deterioration, or damage. Substitute with a known-good solenoid and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace solenoid and then go to VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR procedure.
