DTC P0451: EVAP. Emission System-Pressure Sensor Range / Performance: DTC Detecting Condition

DTC DETECTING CONDITION

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Plausibility check signal stuck
  • Contact resistance in connectors
  • Faulty FTPS
Enable Conditions
  • Vehicle speed > 45km/h(28mph)
  • Canister Purge Flow variation within 13 sec. > 1kg/h
  • Minimum Tank Pressure Signal Voltage> 0.32V
  • Ambient air temperature model > -10°C(14°F)
  • No relevant failure
  • 11 < Battery voltage < 16V
Threshold Value
  • Signal variation < 15mV
Diagnostic Time
  • 65 sec.
Fail Safe
  • EVAP. System monitoring is inhibited
  • Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor monitoring is inhibited
  • Canister close valve monitoring is inhibited
