Signal Circuit Inspection

  1. Key "OFF".
  2. Disconnect FTPS harness connector.
  3. Key "ON".
  4. Measure the voltage between terminal 3 of FTPS harness connector and chassis ground.

    Specification: Approx. 5V

  5. Is the measured voltage within specification ?

    YES  : --> Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.

    NO  : --> Repair Short to ground in signal circuit and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
