USING VOLTMETER
- Disconnect the APS connector.
- Check the continuity between terminal 4 and sensor ground.TERMINALS CONTINUITY CHART
TPS voltage Continuity Higher than 300~900mV Non-conductive ( Ω) 300~900mV Conductive (0Ω) - If out of specification, replace the throttle position sensor.
USING OHMMETER
- Check the resistance of limp-home valve between the terminals 1 and 2.
Resistance: 7.7 - 9.3 Ω at 23°C(73°F)
