Sensor Inspection
- Disconnect the knock sensor connector.
- Measure the resistance between terminals 2 and 3.
Standard value: about 5MΩ [at 20°C(68°F)]
- If the resistance is zero, replace the knock sensor.
Knock sensor:
16 ~ 25Nm (160 ~ 250 kg.cm, 11.8~18.4 lb.ft)
- Measure the capacitance between the terminal 2 and 3.
Standard value : 800 ~ 1600 pF
