DTC DETECTING CONDITION CHART

DTC Strategy
  • Sensor signal shorted to Heater circuit - Compare Lambda sensor signal with Lambda model
  • Short in heater control circuit
  • Poor connection or damaged harness
Enable Conditions
  • No lambda controller stop mode
  • Stable driving condition
  • Exhaust temperature mode > 400°C (752°F)
  • No relevant failure
  • Amplitude of forced lambda stimulation < 0.05
  • Period time of forced lambda stimulation < 2.55 sec.
  • 11V < Battery voltage < 16V
Threshold Value
  • 50 heater coupling detected cycles during 100 cycles of heating frequency
Diagnostic Time
  • 10 sec.
MIL On Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles
