DTC P0453 EVAP. Emission System-Pressure Sensor High Input: DTC Detecting Condition

DTC DETECTING CONDITION

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Detects sensor signal short to high voltage
  • Poor connection
  • Short to battery in signal Circuit
  • Faulty FTPS
  • Faulty PCM
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition ON
  • The FTPS diagnostic has met all enable criteria and will begin fault processing
Threshold value
  • Raw Tank Pressure > 4.915V
Diagnosis Time
  • Continuous (More than 15 seconds failure for every 32 seconds test)
MIL On Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles
