Monitor SCANTOOL Data

Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF".
Connect Scan tool and monitor "CURRENT DATA".

Is key status display Number of the current transponder key?
YES

Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the BCM and/or the antenna coil connector or was repaired and BCM memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.

Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

NO

If key status is "not check", please check whether the transponder is virgin or not.

If transponder is virgin, please register the transponder and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " Procedure.
NOTE:
1. Be sure that PIN code is prepared before performing key teaching.
2. If you register the transponder, please register all keys which were already registered with the PIN code.
