DTC U0101 Serial Communication Problem With TCU (Timeout): DTC Detecting Condition

DTC DETECTING CONDITION

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Missing messages TCU
  • Open or short in CAN line
  • Contact resistance in connectors
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage > 10V
  • Engine speed > Approx. 260 RPM
Threshold Value
  • Time exceeded without message = 0.5 sec.
Diagnostic Time
  • 1 sec.
MIL On Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles
