- Replace OC module.
- Replace the OC module with a new one.
- OC (PODS) Reset procedure.
The following procedures are to be followed to erase the PODS ECU diagnostic codes and for PODS ECU initialization.
- Turn on Hi-Scan Pro and select the Azera model.
- Select SRS-AIRBAG.
- Select DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES. All airbag related diagnostic codes will be displayed if stored.
- If there are diagnostic codes related to the PODS ECU stored in the main SRS control module, the PODS ECU must be reset first before any SRS diagnostic code (s) can be erased.NOTE: Do not clear any codes at this time. Proceed to the next step.
- Press Escape (ESC) and select PODS RESET.
- The Hi-Scan will show the two PODS RESET function steps.
- Erase PODS ECU diagnostic codes
- PODS ECU initialization
- Press the ENTER key to erase the PODS related diagnostic codes.
NOTE: Confirm the PODS diagnostic codes are erased.
- Press ENTER to initialize the PODS.NOTE: Make sure the front passenger seat is empty before performing the PODS ECU initialization.
- The PODS initialization procedure will be performed.
- Once the RESET procedure has been completed, press ESC to exit the PODS RESET menu.
- If required, select DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES to erase any stored diagnostic codes in the SRS main module.
- CLEAR TMake sure the front HE DTC AND CHECK THE VEHICLE AGAIN
Refer to the DESCRIPTION in this TROUBLESHOOTING.
NOTE: Be sure to perform OCS (PODS) reset with Hi-Scan (Pro) after clearing the OCS related DTC.
