Component Inspection

  1. Check IPM
    1. Check regional properties of RF module and RKE.
    2. Does regional properties of RF module coincide with RKE?

      YES 

      Check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

      NO 

      Substitute with a known-good IPM and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace IPM and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
