Component Inspection

Check fog lamp
1. Ignition "ON" & engine "OFF".
2. Disconnect fog lamp low light bulb.
3. Measure the resistance between both terminals of fog lamp low light bulb.
  Specification : approx. 0.04Ω
  
  (If light bulb fails, ∞ Ω is measured.)

4. Is the measured resistance within the specification?
  YES
  
  Go to " 2Check FAM".
  
  NO
  
  Replacing the light bulb with 'light bulb for test', if normal operating condition is confirmed, Replace 'light bulb for test' with 'new light bulb' and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
Check FAM
1. Connect scantool to Data Link Connector (DLC).
2. Ignition "ON" & engine "OFF".
3. Check if DTC is erased after replacing FAM with "FAM for test".
4. Is the DTC erased?
  YES
  
  Replace "FAM for test" with "new FAM" and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
  
  NO
  
  Check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace if necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
