Immobilizer Control Unit: Replacement

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
Remove the driver crash pad lower panel (A) after removing side cover. (Refer to the CRASH PAD )

Disconnect connectors of lower panel.
Disconnect the 5P connector of the SMARTRA unit and then remove the SMARTRA unit (B) mounted on the left side cowl cross bar after loosening a shear bolt (A).

Installation is the-reverse of removal procedure.
