Control Circuit Inspection

Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF"
Measure voltage between terminal 1 of the oil control valve harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx. 3~4V

NOTE: Signal waveform in control circuit with ignition ON & Engine OFF
Is voltage within specification?
YES
- Go to "TERMINAL AND CONNECTOR INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Repair short to ground in control circuit and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
