Component Inspection

Check stop lamp (for Left, Right, Upper stop lamps)
1. Ignition "ON" & engine "OFF"
2. Disconnect stop lamp.
3. Measure the resistance between both terminals of stop lamp light bulb.
  Specification : approx. 0.04 Ω
  
  (If light bulb fails, ∞ Ω is measured.)

4. Is the measured resistance within the specification?
  YES
  
  Go to 2"Check RAM".
  
  NO
  
  Replacing the light bulb with 'light bulb for test', if normal operating condition is confirmed, Replace 'light bulb for test' with 'new light bulb' and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
Check RAM
1. Connect scantool to Data Link Connector (DLC).
2. Ignition "ON" & engine "OFF"
3. Check if DTC is erased after replacing RAM with "RAM for test".
4. Is the DTC erased?
  YES
  
  Replace "RAM for test" with "new RAM" and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
  
  NO
  
  Check connecting condition of connector and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
