Repair procedures (A4CF2): Installation

  1. Connect the main harness connector (A) to the valve body.
    CAUTION: When connecting the oil temperature connector, check the connector for rust, dirt, or oil, then reconnect it.

  2. Install the valve body. (Refer to appropriate Automatic Transaxle Reassembly Overhaul article )

    Tightening torque: 

    10~12 Nm (1.0~1.2 kgf.m, 7~8 lb-ft)

  3. Install the oil filter.

    Tightening torque: 

    5~7 Nm (0.5~0.7 kgf.m, 4~5 lb-ft)

  4. Continue to apply liquid gasket at application points at the oil pan with Ø0.098in (2.5mm) thickness.

  5. Tighten the mounting bolt with the specified TORQUE after installing the oil pan.

    Tightening torque: 

    10~12 Nm (1.0~1.2 kgf.m, 7~8 lb-ft)

  6. Install the drain plug.

    Tightening torque: 

    35~45 Nm (3.5~4.5 kgf.m, 25~32 lb-ft)

  7. Installation is the reverse of the removal.
