Monitor Scan Tool Data

  1. Connect scan tool on the DLC (Data Link Connector)
  2. Perform Action Test for Canister Vent Solenoid Valve with scan tool
  3. Check that clicking sound can be heard by actuation test.

  4. Is the CCV normal?

    YES 

    1. Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or PCM's connector or was repaired and PCM memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

    NO 

    1. Go to "TERMINAL AND CONNECTOR INSPECTION " procedure
