SRS Control Module (SRSCM): Installation
- Remove the ignition key from the vehicle.
- Disconnect the battery negative cable and wait for at least three minutes before beginning work.
- Install the SRSCM with the SRSCM mounting bolts.
Tightening torque (SRSCM Mounting Bolt)
: 6.9 ~ 19.6 Nm (0.7 ~ 2.0 kgf.m, 5.1 ~ 14.5 lb.ft)
NOTE: Use new mounting bolts when replacing the SRSC After a collision. - Connect the SRSCM harness connector.
- Install the heater ducts and floor console. (Refer to CONSOLE )
- Connect the DAB, PAB, SAB, CAB and BPT connectors.
- Reconnect the battery negative cable.
- After installing the SRSCM, confirm proper system operation:
- Turn the ignition switch ON; the SRS indicator light should be turned on for about six seconds and then go off.
