General Information: DTC Detecting Condition

DTC DETECTING CONDITION

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • CAN Signal Check
  1. Driver door opens, No sleeping mode in Smartkey Unit
    1. Open or short circuit in CAN High line
    2. Open or short circuit in CAN Low line
    3. Short circuit in CAN High and Low circuit
  2. Note Signal level in sleeping mode
    • CAN High line: low
    • CAN Low line: high
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage applied to Smartkey Unit
    1. Short to battery in CAN High/Low circuit
    2. Short to ground in CAN High/Low circuit
    3. Short circuit between CAN High and CAN Low each other
    4. Short to B+(5V) in CAN High circuit
    5. Open in CAN High/Low circuit
Threshold value
  • CAN High/Low: Voltage is "0" means short to ground,

    Voltage is "B+" means short to battery
Diagnostic Time
  • Above 2 seconds
DTC Erasing Time
  • Immediately
