IG KEY 'OFF'.
Disassemble Fuel Level Sender 'A'.
Measure resistance between signal terminal and ground terminal of Fuel Level Sensor 'A' with moving the float. (Component side)
Specification: Variation (4 ~ 70 Ω) with moving the float.

Is resistance within the specification?
YES
- Check for poor connection between PCM and component: backed out terminal, improper mating, broken locks or poor terminal to wire connection. Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Substitute with a known-good component and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace it and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
