Reverse Control By Anti-pinch (Safety) Function

When the safety function is active, ECU stops all sort of auto-up function at once and executes the reverse as mentioned below. Measuring manner of the reverse distance: Along the B-pillar (Refer to the next picture)

  1. Panic Mode
    Switch state Switch state when safety is active Window operation Next switch input/window operation state Next switch input

    Express Up Hold switch (Express up) Safety active position + "L" Δ t ≤ 5 sec 2nd stage (Auto up) Manual Up Inhibit Panic mode
    2nd stage (Auto down) Auto Down
    Δ t ≤ 5 sec 2nd stage (Auto up) Inhibit Panic mode  
    2nd stage (Auto down)
    Neutral Full reverse

    "L": Panic reverse distance (25mm)

  2. Auto Up

    Reverse distance

    1. Anti-pinch function occurs < 250mm: ~300mm from top rubber seal
    2. Anti-pinch function occurs > 250mm: Approx. 50mm from the position where the anti-pinch function becomes activated.

  3. Reverse Operation Range

    Type A: 4mm ~ a mm (Maximal travel - 100mm)

    1. Front (about 346mm), Rear (about 330mm)
    NOTE: the range of 4mm ~ 300mm, Safety function follows the regulation.
