Repair Procedures: Installation

  1. Installation is reverse of removal.
    CAUTION:
    1. In the case of the vehicle equipped with immobilizer or button engine start system, perform "TEACHING PROCEDURES ". (Refer to "IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM " or "Button Engine Start System in BE group).
    2. After exchanging TCM, input the EOL (End of line).

      (Refer to "REPAIR PROCEDURES " in this group)

    3. When replacing the TCM, reset the automatic transmissions values by using the GDS.
    4. Perform TCM LEARNING  after replacing the TCM.
