DTC DETECTING CONDITIONS

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Electrical check (Short to Battery/Open)
  • Short to battery or Open in signal circuit
  • Poor connection or damaged harness
  • Faulty Fuel Level Sender "A"
Enable Conditions
  • Delay time when failure present: 200 sec.
  • 11 < Battery voltage < 16
Threshold Value
  • Fuel Level Signal > 4.95V
Diagnostic Time
  • 220 sec.
Mil On Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
