General Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Case1 DTC Strategy
  • Open circuit
  1. Poor connection
  2. Open or short in signal circuit
  3. B2S2
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage > 10.7V
  • Exhaust gas temperature (model): 600°C ~ 900°C (1112°F~1652°F)
Threshold Value
  • Internal resistance > 40kΩ
Case2 DTC Strategy
  • Feedback check
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage > 10.7V
  • 0.40V < Downstream O2S voltage < 0.50V
  • After enough heated
Threshold Value
  • Average of loaded voltage 2.8V
Diagnostic Time
  • 600 sec
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
