Repair Procedures: Installation

  1. Installation is reverse of removal.
    CAUTION:
    1. In the case of the vehicle equipped with immobilizer or button engine start system, perform "Key Teaching" procedure together. (Refer to "BUTTON ENGINE START SYSTEM and IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM in BE group).
    2. After exchanging TCM, input the EOL (End of line).

      (Refer to "REPAIR PROCEDURES " in this group)

    3. When replacing the TCM, reset the automatic transmission values by using the GDS.
    4. Perform TCM learning after replacing the TCM.
