DESCRIPTION

This bulletin provides the procedure to replace the blower PWM module for Santa Fe (NC) vehicles equipped with the Dual Automatic Temperature Control A/C system.

IMPORTANT: *** Dealer Stock and Retail Vehicles *** 
Dealers must perform this Service Campaign on all affected vehicles prior to customer retail delivery and whenever an affected vehicle is in the shop for any maintenance or repair.
When a vehicle arrives at the Service Department, access Hyundai Motor America's "Warranty Vehicle Information" screen via WEBDCS to identify open Campaigns.

2013 MY Santa Fe (NC) vehicles equipped with Dual Automatic Temperature Control A/C system

SERVICE PROCEDURE

  1. Remove the mounting screws (A), and then remove the crash pad under cover (B).

  2. Disconnect the blower PWM module connectors (C).

  3. Remove the mounting screws (D), and then remove the blower PWM module (E).

  4. Install the new blower PWM module (yellow colored label part as shown in page 1) in the reverse order of removal.
  5. Operate the A/C blower to verify proper system operation.
