Power Circuit Inspection

  1. Check for an open or short circuit in the SRSCM Power Circuit.
    1. Disconnect SRSCM connector from wiring harness.
    2. Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF".
      1. Measure voltage between terminal "supply voltage" and chassis ground.

        Specification:  Battery Voltage

    3. Is the measured voltage within specifications?

      YES 

      NO 

      • Substitute the SRSCM main harness or SRSCM and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace SRSCM main harness or SRSCM. Then, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
