DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitor idle speed
  1. Intake system for blockage
Enable Conditions
  • Vehicle speed = 0
  • Coolant temperature is higher than 50°C (122°F)
  • Intake air temperature is higher than -7.5°C (18.5°F)
  • Accel. Pedal = 0%
Threshold value
  • Desired engine speed is over 100rpm greater than actual engine speed
Diagnosis Time
  • 8 sec
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
