DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitor the fuel pressure sensor's signal
  1. Poor Connection
  2. Open or short to ground in signal circuit
  3. Open or short to ground in power circuit
  4. Fuel pressure sensor
  5. Fuel pump control module (FPCM)
Enable Conditions
  • Target fuel pressure is higher than 250kpa and lower than 600kpa.
  • Engine Running
  • Battery voltage is higher than 10V
Threshold value
  • The fuel pressure sensor voltage is lower than 0.3V
Diagnosis Time
  • 10sec
MIL On Condition
  • NO MIL
