DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Rationality check
  1. Poor connection
  2. Leak or clog in intake air system
  3. Injector
  4. Fuel pressure
  5. S1
Enable Conditions
  • Dew point end detected
  • Fuel feed back control active
  • Battery voltage > 11V
  • Exhaust Gas temperature = 536°F~1472°F
  • No injector error
  • No upstream O2 sensor heater error
  • Engine speed 1800~2800rpm
  • Engine load is higher than 20% and lower than 65%
Threshold Value
  • Cycle period of S1 signal > 1.75 sec
Diagnostic Time
  • 11 cycle
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycle

S1: upstream oxygen sensor/S2: downstream oxygen sensor
