DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal check, low
  1. Poor connection
  2. IATS
Case1 Enable Conditions
  • Elapsed time after start is lower than 40 sec.
Threshold Value
  • The temperature difference between IAT and ECTS is lower than 68.54°F
Case2 Enable Conditions
  • Number of driving conditions for at least 15 sec at a speed less than 3mph is greater than 4 times.
  • Number of driving conditions for at least 8 sec at speed higher than 30mph is greater than twice.
Threshold Value
  • The maximum temperature and minimum temperature difference value is lower than 59°F.
Diagnostic Time
  • 2 sec.
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
