DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check CAN message from FPCM
  1. Faulty fuel pump control module (FPCM)
  2. CAN communication line between ECM (PCM) and FPCM
  3. Other ECUs incorrectly occupy the CAN bus
Enable Conditions
  • Engine Run Time ≥ 2sec.
  • Ignition Voltage ≥ 11V
Threshold value
  • CAN communicating error with FPCM
Diagnosis Time
  • Continuous
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
