Monitor GDS Data

  1. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Engine start.
  3. Monitor "Alternator duty cycle, PWM signal" parameter on GDS.

  4. Are the parameters displayed correctly?

    YES 

    • Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or PCM/ECM's connector or was repaired and PCM/ECM memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

    NO
