Component Inspection

■ Check OTS resistance 

1. IG "OFF". Disconnect OTS connector.
2. Measure resistance between signal and ground terminals of OTS connector (Component Side) after recording the temperature of EOTS with GDS.

   Specification: 

   Temperature (°C/°F)	Resistance (kΩ)
   -40°C (-40°F)	52.15kΩ
   -20°C (-4°F)	16.52kΩ
   0°C (32°F)	6.0kΩ
   20°C (68°F)	2.45kΩ
   40°C (104°F)	1.11kΩ
   60°C (140°F)	0.54kΩ
   80°C (176°F)	0.29kΩ

3. Is the measured resistance within specification?

   YES 

   • Substitute with a known - good PCM and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace PCM and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

   NO 

   • Substitute with a known - good OTS and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace OTS and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
