DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage range check
  1. Open in signal harness
  2. Open in ground harness
  3. Poor connection or damaged harness
  4. Faulty Heated O2 Sensor (HO2S)
Enable Conditions
  • O2 Sensor operative readiness
  • O2 Sensor preheating and full heating phases finished
  • Battery voltage between 10V and 16V
Threshold Value
  • Downstream O2 Sensor element resistance higher than 24kΩ
Diagnostic Time
  • 2.5 sec.
Mil On Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles
