Repair Procedures: Replacement
NOTE:
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Use seat covers to avoid damaging any surfaces.
- Remove the following parts.
- Tail Gate Frame Upper Trim & Tail Gate Center Trim
(Refer to: BD procedure - "TAIL GATE ").
- Tail Gate Trim
(Refer to: BD procedure - "TAIL GATE ").
- Tail Gate Frame Side Trim
(Refer to: BD procedure - "TAIL GATE ").
- Tail Gate Glass Heater Connector
(Refer to: BE procedure - "Rear Window Defogger")
- Rear Wiper Arm
(Refer to: BE procedure - "Rear Wiper/Washer")
- Tail Gate Frame Upper Trim & Tail Gate Center Trim
- Disconnect the Washer Nozzle (B) and the High Mounted Stop Lamp Connector (A).
- Loosen the Rear Spoiler Mounting Nuts.
Tightening Torque:
5.9 ~ 6.4 N.m (0.6 ~ 0.65 kgf.m, 4.3 ~ 4.7 lb-ft)
- Remove the Rear Spoiler (A).
- Spread the WD-40 on the side of Tail Gate Glass.
- Using masking tape create some alignment marks (C) to aid in reinstallation.

- Cut out the Adhesive using the Cutter (A).NOTE:
- Please use the Cutter with a blade length between 8-12 inches.

- Enough on the upper, lower, side of tail gate glass, and then cut out the adhesive using the cutter tool (09861-31100).

- Remove the Tail Gate Glass (A).NOTE:
- When removing and installing the Tail Gate Glass, an assistant is necessary.
