DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitor idle speed
  1. Intake system for blockage
Enable Conditions
  • Vehicle speed = 0
  • Coolant temperature is higher than 158°F
  • Intake air temperature is higher than 18.5°F
  • Accel. Pedal = 0%
Threshold Value
  • Difference of 'Desired engine speed' and 'Actual engine speed' is higher than 100rpm
Diagnostic Time
  • 8 sec.
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
