Repair Procedures: Removal

Remove the Floor Console Assembly.
(Refer to: Body - "FLOOR CONSOLE ")
Remove the Cover (A).

Remove the Select Cable (B) by removing the Snap Pin (A).

Remove the Shift Lever Assembly (B) by removing the Bolts (A-4ea).
Tightening Torque:

9.8 ~ 14.7 N.m (1.0 ~ 1.5 kgf.m, 7.2 ~ 14.5 lb-ft)

Remove the Shift Cable (B) by removing the Clip (A).

Remove the Retainer (A) after loosen the Nut (B).
Tightening Torque:

11.8 ~ 14.7 N.m (1.2 ~ 1.2 kgf.m, 87 ~ 10.8 lb-ft)

Remove the following parts.
1. Air Cleaner Assembly and Air Duct.
  (Refer to: Engine Mechanical System - "AIR CLEANER ")
2. Battery and Battery Tray.
  (Refer to: Engine Electrical System - "BATTERY ")
Remove the Shift & Select Cable.
1. Remove the Pin (A) and Washer (B).
2. Make Unlock Clip (C) and then remove the Shift & Select Cable and the Clip (C) from the bracket.

NOTE:
- DO NOT reuse the Clip (C).
Remove the Shift Cable at cabin room.
