DTC DETECTING CONDITIONS AND POSSIBLE CAUSES

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Rationality check
  1. Poor connection
  2. Fuel Level Sensor
Case1 Enable Conditions
  • Consumed fuel (actual) is higher than 12
  • Vehicle speed is higher than 8km/h
Threshold Value
  • Difference of 'Consumed fuel (model)' and 'consumed fuel (actual)' is higher than 15
Diagnostic Time
  • 120 sec.
Case2 Enable Conditions
  • Consumed fuel gradient value is lower than 0.2
Threshold Value
  • Fuel Tank Pressure gradient value is higher than 2.0kPa
Diagnostic Time
  • 5 sec.
MIL ON Condition
  • No MIL
