Liftgate Open Switch

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
Remove the liftgate trim.
(Refer to TAIL GATE TRIM Body )
Remove the liftgate back panel.
(Refer to TAIL GATE BACK PANEL Body )
Loosen the liftgate switch mounting screws (2 ea).

Remove the liftgate switch (A) after separating the license lamp wiring.
