Monitor GDS Data

■ Monitor DTC Status 

1. Ignition ON & Vehicle "STOP".
2. Connect GDS and select "DTC Analysis" mode.
3. Click "DTC Status" on the menu bar to view DTC information.
4. Confirm that the "DTC Readiness Flag" indicates "COMPLETED".
5. Read the "DTC Status" parameter.

6. Is parameter displayed "Present fault"?

   YES 

   • Go to Next procedure.

   NO 

   • Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or Control module's connector or was repaired and Control module's memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
