Component Inspection

■ Check fuel pressure regulator (spill valve) resistance 

1. IG "OFF" and disconnect fuel pressure regulator (spill valve) connector.
2. Measure resistance between High and Low control terminals of fuel pressure regulator (spill valve). (Component Side)

   Specification:  1.035 ~ 1.265 Ω [23°C (73°F)]

3. Is the measured resistance within specification?

   YES 

   • Substitute with a known - good IDB and check for proper operation.

     If the problem is corrected, replace IDB and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.

   NO 

   • Substitute with a known - good fuel pressure regulator (spill valve) and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace fuel pressure regulator (spill valve) and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
