Power Circuit Inspection

■ Check voltage 

1. IG "OFF" & Disconnect fuel rail pressure sensor connector.
2. IG "ON".
3. Measure voltage between power terminal of fuel rail pressure sensor harness connector and chassis ground.

   Specification:  power - approx. 5V

4. Is the measured voltage within specification?

   YES 

   • Go to "Signal Circuit Inspection " procedure below.

   NO 

   • Repair open or short to ground in power circuit of the fuel rail pressure sensor and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
