General Information: DTC Detecting Condition

DTC Strategy
  • This code detects a continuous short to high in either the signal circuit or the BPS sensor
  1. Connecting condition
  2. Short in Signal Circuit
  3. Open in Ground Circuit.
  4. Faulty BPS
  5. Faulty PCM
Enable Conditions
  • -
Threshold value
  • Signal > 4.5V
Diagnosis Time
  • Continuous
MIL On Condition
  • 2 Drive Cycles
