Monitor GDS Data

Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
Ignition "ON" & Engine "ON".
Select "Current Data" mode and monitor "SPORTS MODE SELECT S/W, SPORTS MODE UP S/W, SPORTS MODE DOWN S/W" parameters.
Change shift lever to "Sports Mode".

Is Sports Mode Switch working within specification?
YES
- Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact between PCM/TCM and Sensor, and DTC was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair as necessary and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
NO
- Go to "Terminal and Connector Inspection" procedure below.
