GDS data analysis

  1. Connect GDS and select "DTC Analysis" mode
  2. Start the engine.
  3. Monitor the parameters related to DTC on the "Current Data" menu of the GDS (Fig 1).

    Off duration O2 sensor heating upstream value is growing up to 30.9% at a time of start and then it will decreases approx. 25~35%.

    Lambda closed loop active is turned on after 25 s from engine start.

  4. Is parameter displayed within specifications?

    YES 

    • Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or PCM's connector. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
